Worldwide prevalence of HIV has increased in recent years due to lax prevention measures. As AIDS treatment increased while prevalence rates decreased, people began to underestimate the risk of HIV infection.
Held annually on December 1, Siam Care and and the Samaki Pattana Community hosted a World AIDS Day festival for HIV education and awareness in the SP Community and invited TPF along with the Peace Community Church to participate. Roughly 100 community members participated in the quiz games, awareness teaching, drawing contests and eating! TPF Scholarship youth performed a puppet show and pop-quizzed kids about HIV and AIDS.
We can all fight HIV/AIDS together!
